| About Our Business § The price of doing business is meeting great people § The Company: TBS Lawn Care has been active in the lawn and garden industry since 1998. We started out by doing lawns for our friends and family as favors. It has since, turned into a full time business for us. We couldn't have asked for a better way of life and we love what we do! Our heart goes into every aspect of this company, it's customers, and their yards. We are still the small, family owned and operated 'hometown' company. We like it that way. While we all want to grow and expand, we also like being able to add that personal touch that the big guys don't get to implement. We know how it feels to be just another number on a large companies annual business plan. Part of what got us where we are, is that personal touch, which is extremely important in any industry. We don't want to lose sight of that. You're not just a number to us! The Family: We (Dave & Les) have been married for more than 1/2 our lives now. We figure if we can work with each other for that many years harmoniously, we can surely work for you as well. We are a deeply rooted and well-structured Christian family & business. As we both readily state, we gave our business to God and HE leads the way. HE's doing a wonderful job of helping us build and grow, and we praise and thank HIM daily for HIS guidance and blessings. The Team: Dave & Josh are the brawn behind this business. They will be handling all of your actual work, with help from Jason, another crew member. Les is the administrative muscle that will handle all of your accounts, from billing and credit to scheduling and planning. Our Area: We service a very large part of NE Tarrant County, though primarily, NE/W Fort Worth and the surrounding area. We do not service certain areas of downtown Ft Worth, West Saginaw, Azle, Arlington, Mansfield, Grand Prairie, Euless, Irving or Dallas County. See our site map for a general view. We have 1 other service provider that we can refer to, so let us know if you need someone that is outside of our service area. If you live in another state and have property here, No Problem! Just call us. We can always work out the details for you so that your rental or sale properties are in tip-top shape. Out of towner's are required to prepay for all services and fax confirmation. Security: To add to your security and ease in working with us, the crew you see working at your home or business on your first service call, will be the same crew you see for the remainder of your service time with us. Our crew speaks ONLY English. We do not have a bilingual crew or staff. Sorry. Our staff is required to be legally documented to live and work in the US and Texas. Service: We promise we will never provide any service that you do NOT NEED at any time. This means: if we are scheduled to mow your lawn and it doesn't need it, we are going to let you know that. We will offer you a different schedule (skip a week) or another type of service for that day. The choice will be yours to make. We all want to make a living, but we will not nickel and dime you to death by doing unnecessary work and taking advantage of our hard working, paying customers. In return, we ask that you call us if you wish to have your service skipped, if at all possible. Help us save gas, the economy and the environment by preventing needless driving! When we get rained out, we will push you forward or backward a day on the schedule, to prevent injury to our workers. I am sure you see many services mowing in the rain. We're not one of them. Our crew safety is more important to us. If the rain rescheduling comes within a few days of your next regular service we will simply forfeit the current and pick up the next scheduled service day instead. If you have prepaid service, your credits will be carried forward and applied accordingly. We do our best to cover all the bases. Your business really is that important to us and your money is as hard earned as ours is. (See 'terms' for more information please) In Closing: There isn't much that we can't or wont do for you and your property. Just ask! **Estimates are FREE! We aren't going to charge you a fee, then tell you that we will apply it to your service if you hire us, although, we are not going to come out on Sunday or any Holiday for free. That's our time off. | *Discounts - While we DO offer many types of discounts and referral rewards (unlike most of our competitors), we must state that if you own a property and are renting for profit to one of our lovely Senior Citizens, you do NOT QUALIFY for their discount simply because they are living there. In addition, because we offer a Seniors discount, please do not assume that you will receive one "on-top" of the rate you were given by our crew. If they are aware of your status (and they usually are), they are also aware of the discount and that discount has typically already been applied to your rate.
